An einer Fassade stand eines Tages urplötzlich ein spanisches Gedicht und erregte öffentliches Ärgernis. Wie es da hinkam, ist einerlei, wichtig doch ist es, wo es hinkommt: in den Orkus bitte. Wenn ich dieses Machwerk nur sehe… Denn es ist durch und durch bedrohlich, da zu Recht vergangene Tage in den Zeilen zu uns aufschauen, schüchtern schauen – sexistisch – widerlich! Nur zu schön ist es doch, daß das Zeitalter der alten, weißen Männer untergeht! Was danach kommt, ist einerlei! Und wenn es eine Sintflut ist, liebe Leute, seid am besten durstig. Die Epoche der Romantik ist an uns vorübergegangen, aber Spanisch wird aberweilen gesprochen. Man setzt sich doch gerne mal die Übersetzung sanft ins Hirn, hier bitteschön, der starke Tobak vom ollen Gomringer, dem Schelm.

Eines will ich ganz deutlich sagen, liebe Leute: solche Gedichte brauchen wir nicht. Wir nicht. Denn wir haben “Gendertrouble”, wie im Tagesspiegel “Ein Gedicht macht Gendertrouble”¹ berichtet wird. Und uns geht es doch prächtig ohneso! Wer das Gedicht braucht, der solle, der soll mal, der – mhh, jetzt hab ich’s – der soll sich doch belehren lassen. Denn der Schmierfink, der soetwas schrieb, der ist heute nun, der ist heute, also nun, da kommt es – ach, ach, ja – der ist ein ganz armer Men– – auch nur ein Mensch.

Die vor einem Jahr vom Asta in sachlichem Ton vorgetragene Kritik, das Gedicht reproduziere „eine klassische patriarchale Kunsttradition“ und erinnere „unangenehm an sexuelle Belästigung“ […]

Als ich schon dachte, nun ist die Welt in Gänze verloren, schrieb ein Nutzer eine Erwiderung in der Kommentarspalte des Tagesspiegelartikels¹, so, daß ich sie auch im Herzen recht verstand. Ein Kleinod, das erhalten werden muß:

Danke dahlemaleikum. Auf eine wundervolle Weise bringt es mich jedes mal zum Lachen, auch wenn es nicht von einer Wand lacht. Im Grunde ist damit alles gesagt. Aber das will nicht gelingen. Heute mir nicht. Heute ist mal wieder alles anders™.

I reworked the music of blood 1 between 2007 and 2008 and completed the final version for that time. And yes, I called it rearranged back then, but this is of course no rearrangement in the traditional, ordinary sense. Still, the compositions are so damn good and most parts were already for orchestra, so I edited the files in order to improve the sound and had not much to compose, but it took a long time to change it so that it is pleasing to me: events such as note velocities or track volumes have been adjusted accordingly. Instruments like the timpani have been added to many tracks to create richer orchestral sound. And much more, but there’s hardly anything new, it’s just more orchestral.

Quite some minor corrections to my arrangements and soundfonts are needed, but all midi files were lost because of human mistake (the arrangements are still there) so I am not up to redo everything again. This project shall therefore be deemed completed.
Addendum 2018: I discovered the old midi files on a backup CD. So this project is on my to-do list again. I will do a lot more next time. Release: when it’s done.
